Company Background

SPS South Ltd was formed in 2017 under its former name of Stamfield Property Services. In 2019 the company formally merged and incorporated a long standing replacement glazing company Cromwell Windows, Doors and Conservatories. Cromwell’s impressive reputation across Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey for providing great services and products added considerable scope to the growing market presence of Stamfield Property Services.

In July 2020 the company went through a complete management restructure resulting in the change of name to SPS South Ltd. Cromwell Windows, Doors and Conservatories remains a trading name of SPS South Ltd and is fully managed by SPS.

Our offices are based on a large private estate in Basingstoke, Hampshire. We are happy to operate across Southern England.

What We Do

SPS South Ltd is split into two operational divisions; energy efficiency and replacement glazing. Each division is managed by an individual director.

Our energy efficiency division operates mainly as a sales agency for a large insulation contractor across Southern England. We specialise in providing external and cavity wall insulation along with loft insulation. As well as the insulation measures we provide we also supply replacement boilers, energy performance certificates and rendering. Ultimately SPS will become a supplier of a full home solution for retrofit energy efficiency measures.

Our glazing division has over 20 years experience in supplying and fitting high quality products. We pride ourselves on our reputation and service. We are not your standard double-glazing company. We spend the time explaining our products and our installation processes with our customers but most importantly there is no hard sale with us. We provide our best price first time and allow the customer to investigate and then decide on what is best for them and their property. There are no pushy salesmen with us.

The two divisions interlink perfectly with each other. We have established strong and respectful relationships with many key players in the market. We work with many local authorities such as Surrey County Council, East Hampshire Council, Wiltshire County Council, Bracknell Forest Council, Reading Borough Council and Wokingham Council. We have also formed partnerships with charitable organisations such as Action Surrey and the National Energy Foundation who are responsible for guiding homeowners on their energy efficiency requirements.

SPS is also accredited to work on all national government energy schemes such as the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) and the Green Homes Grant Scheme.

Our People

SPS South Ltd is a family run business. Its two directors are brothers Colin and Mark Millard. Both brothers have considerable experience in their fields.

Colin is responsible for the energy efficiency division and has over 15 years experience in this market. His team currently consists of eight field surveyors and the office operation. His main expertise is external wall insulation and rendering. He is registered as the company’s managing director. Colin is very hands on and is often out surveying himself to ensure the service being provided by the company is to the highest possible standard. He is an ex-professional footballer and he is also a highly respected coach having worked with many professional clubs over the years

Mark oversees the glazing division. Mark controls everything in this division from installation, sales, warehousing and aftersales. Mark is a very hard working and conscientious man who leaves no stone unturned. He is the man who delivers our precious reputation in this market and its often said that our customers are buying Mark rather than anything else! Mark is registered as the company’s operations director. Mark is now a fully qualified football referee and is working his way through the grades after a very successful semi-professional playing career.

Our ethos is simple. We want our people to become part of our family to help SPS grow to the benefit of the family. Hard work and dedication gets rewarded and appreciated in the family.
